This winery brings a European flair to the Central Coast. It's owners, the Grindleys, are world travelers and celebrated wine makers. The Brecon Estate is more than a winery, it's an architectural masterpiece.

Their vineyards are home to several different types of grapes, including some of the first grape varieties brought to the Central Coast area, allowing Brecon Estate to create truly spectacular wines. That's why they're one of the best Paso Robles wineries.

Owning a vineyard and making wine was the longtime dream of the Thacher family. In 2006, that dream was finally realized when they bought the historic Kentucky Ranch in the Paso Robles Area.

Thanks to the Thachers' experience brewing and wine making, they create unique, complex Paso Robles wines that vary based on the growing and harvest conditions of any given year. Their small, skilled team is dedicated to bringing out the best flavor of the grapes and producing world-class wines.

They are open for tastings from 11am to 5pm daily. Reservations are encouraged at their outdoor patio, where they hold tastings to make the experience as safe as possible for their guests.

Ecluse is the creation of Steve and Pam lock, longtime grape growers in the Paso Robles area. After years of producing some of the region's best grapes, they started producing their own wine, Ecluse, in 2001.

The Locks believe that great wine starts with great fruit, and have backed up that belief through the creation of award-winning wines. They mainly produce Estate Rhône and Bordeaux Varietals and Blends, as well as Zinfandel, all of which have received various awards.

The Ecluse tasting room at Lock Vineyards is open Thursday through Sunday by appointment only for up to groups of 6 guests.Their tastings happen on a terrace overlooking their vineyard, making their place one of the best Paso Robles wineries with a view.
